Barb Meier

Barb Meier has been selected to receive the Philip J. Bray Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in the Physical Sciences . The award will be presented to Barb at the Teaching Awards Ceremony on May 6, 4pm-6pm, in Pembroke 305. In addition to the recognition of her achievements, Barb will receive a professional development fund of $3,000 for each of two years.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that David Notkin ’77 passed away early this week following a long battle with cancer. He leaves behind his wife Cathy, his children Emma and Akiva, and his sister Debbie. David was a Professor and the Bradley Chair at the University of Washington and was a world leader in software engineering, and an extraordinary mentor, who served more than seven years on the CRA Board.
